Species Description
The Pearl-spotted Owlet is a very small owl (7 inches) with a long tail that lives in Africa from Senegambia to W Sudan; possibly also Liberia. . It lives in small holes in trees and hunts during the day. Pearl-spotted Owlets are mostly brown and covered in the white spots that give it its name . It hunts small birds and mammals.
