Species Description
The Tooth-billed Pigeon is native to Samoa, and is medium in size. The Tooth-billed Pigeon stands a little over one foot tall and has a darker coloring; it has reddish feet and a black neck. The Tooth-billed Pigeon gets its name from the tooth-like projections on its mandible. It feeds on fruits of the Dysoxylum and is classified as Endangered.
