Species Description
The Barbary Partridge is from the pheasant family and is found primarily in the Northern Africa region. The Barbary Partridge feeds on a wide variety of seeds and will also eat insects as food. This bird reaches a little over one foot in length and resides in hilly country where the climate is dry and open. The Barbary Partridge is a rotund bird and prefers to run instead of fly.
